420 isn’t cancelled. It’s 4 EVA

SF Mayor London Breed announced yesterday that police have been assigned to guard Hippie Hill on everyone’s favorite “unsanctioned holiday.” 

“We will not tolerate anyone coming to San Francisco for 420 this year,” she said. Noting that the consequences of gathering during a pandemic “could be deadly” for the friends and family of attendees. 

We know! It was going to be epic! A whole month of 420! Blaze up! But no high is worth the spread of a deadly disease. If you’re bummed about the furloughed festivities, remember, time is a construct. 

Forget one month. We’ll take eternity. Like Auntie Maxine said, we’re reclaiming our time.

When this is all over, we’ll party like there’s no tomorrow. Until then, stay high and stay home.
