Bubble up with Summerland bongs

There’s something about Summerland’s terracotta bongs that take us back to our breezy AirBnB in 29 Palms. The Land Yacht, a 12.5-inch, $275 conversation starter is handmade in San Francisco, but it’s got us longing for that backyard hot tub, just a few minutes north of Skull Rock, our favorite granite monument in Joshua Tree National Park. Just imagine a fresh bud, sitting atop that clay-colored bowl, like a creosote bush breaking through cracked earth.

Summerland makes a variety of smoking pieces in unique formats and colorways. They might be on the expensive side, but they sure beat that green plastic monstrosity you puffed on in college.
